REMEMBRANCE DAY:

Mouse Icon

Today, all children have been involved in marking Remembrance Day.
During the past week, children have learnt poems within their Key Stages which they performed for the rest of the school in today’s Remembrance worship.
We discussed what Remembrance was and why we stop and reflect.

All children have made their own poppies to wear today using recycled materials, linking back to recycling week, which they wore with pride.

As part of our focus in Art and Gardening club, children have made recycled poppies using the plastic collections we had from Recycling Week and made a Remembrance display outside the Community Garden area.
