Special diets

We have a unique approach to special diets which embraces not only the key allergens but just as importantly another 80 or so defined intolerances.

We train and develop our teams so they can deliver fresh, seasonal menus, as well as a smile and a helping hand.

School Snacks

We are very pleased to be part of the Governments’ School Fruit Scheme, which provides a piece of fruit to every child from Reception to Year 2.

Children are also welcome to bring their own fruit in addition to this and we are very happy for our older children to bring a piece of fruit to school to eat during the morning break. All children are encouraged to drink water regularly.

Food Allergies

We’ve always taken the issue of food allergies extremely seriously. If any pupil has an allergy, an intolerance or a medical condition that calls for a special diet our in-house expert team of nutritionists make sure pupils are fully and safely catered for with special menus, procedures and local training. We need to ensure we have all your children’s catering requirements taken care of.

Join the Trust

SUAT supports and leads in the set-up of new academies joining the partnership. The services provided by the central support function cover both educational and non-educational support. In terms of educational support, SUAT is linked to the School of Education of Staffordshire University, which is an outstanding ITT provider.
