Brambles Before and After School Club

Brambles has a wonderful nurturing environment that enables your child to have fun and relax.

All of our staff have the appropriate childcare qualifications and all are paediatric first aid trained.

We offer a wide range of activities and play opportunities, including crafts, board games, construction, role play etc. Children are involved in the planning of activities and resources are age appropriate and based on the children’s interests.

‘Homework’ time can be given to those who wish to take the opportunity. The children also have access to our vast outdoor space.

Breakfast is provided in before school club, which includes a selection of toast, cereals, fruit and yoghurts. After school club provides high teas which includes a varied menu.

Holiday Club

We offer a holiday club, which includes most inset days, that is full of exciting theme-based activities.
We take advantage of the outdoor spaces, that include, the forestry area, gardens and numerous play areas too.
Breakfast, lunch and high tea are provided.

Invoices for Brambles are payable a month in advance and our office staff, will deal with any queries relating to this.

Safeguarding

The Academy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DDSL) roles and responsibilities extend to Brambles provision too. Mrs Curley, Brambles Manager and DDSL, will also provide support to the Brambles staff in relation to safeguarding and welfare needs.

SUAT supports and leads in the set-up of new academies joining the partnership. The services provided by the central support function cover both educational and non-educational support. In terms of educational support, SUAT is linked to the School of Education of Staffordshire University, which is an outstanding ITT provider.
