Brambles Before and After School Club

Brambles is exclusively available for children attending St. Edward’s CE Academy, Cheddleton, providing a safe, caring and nurturing environment where children can relax, have fun and thrive before and after the school day.

Our experienced and dedicated EYFS team are fully qualified in childcare, with all staff holding current Paediatric First Aid qualifications, giving parents peace of mind that their children are in safe and capable hands.

At Brambles, every session is packed with exciting opportunities for children to learn through play, develop friendships and build confidence. We offer a wide variety of engaging activities including arts and crafts, construction, board games, imaginative role play, outdoor adventures and much more. Children are encouraged to share their ideas and help shape our activity programme, ensuring there is always something to spark their interests. Resources and activities are carefully planned to be fun, inclusive and suitable for all ages.

For those who would like a quiet moment after the school day, we are happy to provide time and space for homework or reading. Children also enjoy regular access to our extensive outdoor areas, where they can play, explore and stay active in the fresh air.

A healthy breakfast is provided at our Before School Club, with a choice of toast, cereals, fresh fruit and yoghurts to help children start the day feeling energised and ready to learn. At After School Club, children are served a delicious, nutritious high tea from our varied menu, ensuring they leave happy, satisfied and ready for the evening ahead.

At Brambles, we aim to create a welcoming ‘home from home’ where every child feels valued, supported and excited to return each day.
