ANTI-BULLYING

What is bullying?

The Anti-Bullying Alliance defines bullying as the repetitive, intentional hurting of one person or group by another person or group, where the relationship involves an imbalance of power. It can happen face to face or online.

The Anti-Bullying Alliance website ‘Advice for Parents’ Tab, gives more information and advice about bullying for parents on topics such as:

Sources of information, advice and support

What to do if your child has been accused of bullying

Cyber-bullying

How to help your child if they are being bullied

Spotting the signs of bullying

Interactive Information Tool

The Anti-Bullying Alliance have also created an interactive Information tool for parents which will offer support and guidance for the topics above. This tool consists of a series of modules / lessons with videos and information. You can look at particular modules which are of interest to you or complete the whole course.  However, they recommend taking the lessons in order to get the most out of this course.
