At St. Edward’s, taking part in activities in all areas of Art and Design, will enable our pupils to gain self-confidence, experience a sense of achievement, develop their individual creativity and a sense of joy and inspiration the arts can bring.
Our aim is to provide opportunities for children to discover and develop their creative skills through a range of arts subjects. Through weaving arts activities through our curriculum, we hope to inspire children to deepen their understanding of learning whilst engaging in activities that will help them to develop confidence and articulacy. We want children to voice their opinion about the content of the curriculum so it is relevant to the social context of our school, making meaningful connections with the real world.
