Principal

Joining the LAC, as Principal of St Edward’s Academy, Cheddleton in September 2018, I bring prior Principal experience of leading significant and rapid school improvement in two Stoke-on-Trent schools. I have a wide and varied knowledge and understanding of building effective teams, leading Teaching, Learning and Assessment and all elements of Personal Development, Behaviour and Welfare. I welcome and appreciate internal and external monitoring, challenge and support as a means to continually improve the provision, development and outcomes for the children, staff and community that I serve.

Staff Governors
Erica Clifford

Teaching is my passion and I am committed to ensuring that all children at SEAC are given the opportunities to succeed and realise their true potential.  I welcomed the opportunity of becoming a member of the LAC in order to develop a deeper understanding of the strategic direction of the Academy and to provide appropriate support and challenge to its aims.

As a primary school teacher I feel that my understanding of the education system would support me in this role.

I have always enjoyed the ethos that SEAC promotes and actually moved into the village so that my son could attend the school.  I am enthusiastic to take on an active role within the LAC and be an informed parent voice.
